Hugh O'Daly - Director
Hugh O'Daly is a highly skilled carpenter with a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-quality results. He has over 19 years of experience in the trade, starting with his apprenticeship at the age of 18 in Dublin, Ireland.
After serving as a head carpenter for a local builder, Hugh travelled to Australia for a year. Still, he ended up staying for six years, where he gained a diverse range of experience in various aspects of carpentry, including residential work, large-scale formwork on civil projects, and construction in western Australian mines.
Hugh then moved to New Zealand and worked as a project manager on high-profile projects such as the Christchurch Art Gallery and the Christchurch Town Hall, further honing his skills in managing projects and a workforce.
Upon returning to Ireland in 2015, Hugh founded Atticly, his own carpentry business. He operates using Lean principles to minimize waste for his clients and is dedicated to delivering the best possible product and service. He places a strong emphasis on clear and efficient communication, striving to always respond quickly and effectively to his clients
